Our initial meetings together develop a mutual understanding of your needs and our ability to meet those needs. Whether you desire to maintain your current health or strive for improved health, we recommend starting our relationship by allowing us to understand who you are, what your perceived needs are and to determine if we have the ability to provide your care.
A comprehensive examination of the dentition (teeth and gingiva) and surrounding structural-functional elements (head and neck muscles, jaw joints) allows us to develop a diagnosis and treatment blueprint. In this process, the patient and the doctor are educated about each other so that a trusting relationship can grow and facilitate appropriate decisions and ultimately extraordinary care.

You can complete them on your phone, tablet or computer in a few minutes, and your information comes straight to our office, so check-in on the day is quick.
If you’d rather fill them out with us, or you need a hand with any part of them, please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment and our team will help you complete them in the office.

What happens at my first visit?
Your first visit is a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation: an examination of your teeth and gums and the surrounding structures (head and neck muscles and jaw joints) so Dr. Warga can develop a diagnosis and a treatment blueprint. Our initial meetings together are also about getting to know you and your goals, whether you want to maintain your current health or improve it.
How do I complete the new patient forms?
We’ve gone paperless. Before your first visit we send a personal link by text or email to our secure, HIPAA-compliant online forms, which take a few minutes on a phone, tablet or computer. The forms are available in English and Spanish. If you’d rather fill them out with us, or need a hand with any part of them, arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment and we’ll help you in the office.
Do you accept my dental insurance?
Winnetka Dental Arts welcomes patients from every insurance company, and we work with all PPO and traditional (indemnity) plans to help you get the most from your benefits. You receive a written treatment plan and, on request, an estimate to submit to your insurance company for a pre-treatment determination of benefits; after each visit we provide everything your claim needs so your reimbursement comes directly to you. What are your office hours?
Monday through Wednesday 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Thursday 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The office is closed Friday through Sunday.
Can I text the office?
Yes. Our number, (847) 441-6510, accepts both calls and text messages.
Where is the office, and where do I park?
We are on the lower level of the Winnetka Galleria Building at 570 Lincoln Ave, Suite 3, Winnetka, IL 60093. If street parking is unavailable, there is a large public lot behind the building, entered from Lincoln Avenue just north of the Galleria or from Pine Street immediately west of the Winnetka Community House; take the rear entryway into the building. What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. There is no charge for cancelling or rescheduling with 24 hours or more notice; a fee may be charged for less notice and for missed appointments. Our full appointment policy has the details.
